Home/Finishes
Five finishes, all stocked
The five finishes
Two painted standards, three premium. Every one is carried in stock rather than ordered in, so mixing two in one job does not add weeks to the lead time.

Pure WhiteA crisp, bright white that lifts a room and sits happily with almost any countertop. The one most kitchens order. PW · StandardPrefinished sides
Proper GrayA neutral mid grey with just enough warmth to avoid looking cold. Pairs with most fixtures without a fight. PG · StandardPrefinished sides
Marine BlueA deep navy. Used across a whole kitchen, or kept for an island as the one piece of colour in the room. MB · PremiumUnfinished sides, so order skins or end panels where a run ends in the open
Ideal GrayA grey stain rather than a paint, so the grain stays visible. Reads warmer than a painted grey. IG · PremiumPrefinished sides
Rustic HickoryA dark stain over hickory, with the knots and grain variation left showing. The most traditional of the five. RH · PremiumUnfinished sides, so order skins or end panels where a run ends in the open
Standard and premium
Pure White and Proper Gray are the standard tier. Marine Blue, Ideal Gray and Rustic Hickory are premium and carry a modest uplift, consistently across the range rather than per cabinet.
Painted or stained
The three painted finishes are solid colour. The two stains, Ideal Gray and Rustic Hickory, leave the grain showing, so no two doors are identical. That is the point of a stain, but it is worth seeing before you commit.
See them in your own light
A screen will not tell you whether Proper Gray reads warm or cold in your kitchen, and it will not show you what a hickory stain does under a north window.
So we bring them to you. We come out with the real doors, you hold them against your own walls, your own worktop and your own light, and you decide there rather than from a photograph on a phone. For a bigger project we can bring the trailer, which is the showroom on wheels.
It costs nothing and there is no obligation to order anything afterwards.
No charge, no obligation
